Vogue Editors Asked To Follow Dress Code For Met Gala

by Georgia Bobley · May 7, 2012

Leave to Anna Wintour to tend to every minute detail of tonight's gala. But can you blame her? The Met Gala, which is hosted by Vogue, is basically the biggest event of her year.

Desperate to make sure the evening will run smoothly, Anna apparently instructed all the Vogue editors to wear pink dresses in honor of the late Italian fashion designed Elsa Schiparelli. She didn't stop at choosing a color, though. In order to insure no one misinterpreted her instructions, the Anna asked the magazine's editors to photograph themselves in their dresses, with their hair done in various styles, and then send them to her for approval.

As if she didn't have enough to worry about tonight...
