Deer Tick Plays A Live Show At Solé East, And Gets Wet And Naked

Saturday night, Deer Tick played a free live show at The Backyard of Solé East resort as a preview to the MTK festival happening in August. As a huge fan of the band, I'm aware of their usual debauchery on stage (lead singer John McCauley once ate a flower I threw on stage). But this time, the band shook up the crowd of East Enders (which included the Olsen twin's kid sister Lizzie) with a little nudity.

The evening started off on a fairly tame foot, the band was jamming...

Hamptonites were drinking...

Lizzie Olsen was hanging out...

Then suddenly, things took a strange turn -- lead singer John McCauley stripped down to his skivvies on stage (which were actually women's underwear), flailed through the crowd of onlookers, and splashed into the pool. It looked something like this:

1. Getting ready to strip...

2. Stripped and flailing...

3. Into the pool...

4. Out of the pool...

5. Performing another set of songs wet and almost naked to a group of children and fans...

I think everyone there thoroughly enjoyed it. Well, maybe not the WASPy moms trying to have dinner.
