[Photo via] The lines in the Hamptons this weekend were record-breaking long. Stopping to get gas or running into CVS easily cost you a minimum 20-minute wait. But one of the longest lines of them all wrapped the BookHampton shop in East Hampton on Friday afternoon. There was no agitated impatience on this line, as eager fans waited for the meet and greet with Oscar winner turned author, Gwyneth Paltrow. She gladly signed copies of her recently completed project, a collection of 150 recipes, called "My Father's Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family and Togetherness."
The beach beauty Paltrow arrived as if she was washed up from the shore. Her makeup-less, sun kissed face smiled as she read excerpts from her first publication. She dressed comfortably with jean shorts and a striped top over her bathing suit.
BookHampton owner Charline Spektor was happy to host the celeb author. Part of the proceeds from the day's book signing were donated to East Hampton Food Pantry.
