The Hideaway
Nestled into a hamlet of boats and docking ports, The Hideaway is Montauk's own secret Mexican joint. This locals favorite is known for its tacos and burritos, but if you're in the mood for tequila, this is also the place to be. The Hideaway has an impressive selection of the liquor and more than 30 types are served in this tiny dockside restaurant. One of the only Mexican cuisine establishments in Montauk, numerous flock to satisfy their spice cravings and enjoy a margarita or a large peach sangria that will only set you back $10. The Hideaway is a self service spot, with a rather lax dress code of jean shorts and flip flops. Like most hidden spots in Montauk, make sure you give yourself at least 10 minutes to actually find the place.
