Board Shorts As Casual Shorts
Dudes, this one is for you. And all I have to say about it is just don't. When you're headed to the beach, the pool, or any other body of water, please go right ahead and rock the board shorts all you want. If it's past 5 PM, and you're in a public place, say for example a bar, this is just not okay. The same rule applies to mesh athletic shorts, just don't do it in public. You may argue that the Hamptons are actually beach towns, which they certainly are, but that still doesn't change our feelings towards seeing board shorts after dark.
