On the flip side: as the HBIC, is it ever difficult for you to hand over the reins on some things?
I've become much better at delegating, I credit having a baby (my son). He truly is my blessing. I realized the need to create balance in my life. In doing so, I realized to trust in the great team that makes up the The Surf Lodge, who do a great job, maybe, even better than me ;)
How do you manage time to take a breather, especially during the summer?
Summers are tough, but balancing a normal life makes me better at work. So, I put a priority on finding time for mediation, to exercise and most importantly, time with my baby, family and friends.
