You've worked in nightlife and hospitality for years. As a woman (and a woman in charge) have you ever faced any challenges?
As a woman and as a man you face all types of challenges in hospitality. I've never looked at the challenges I've faced beyond that of being an operator.
You've said in other interviews that the most important thing for you is the customers' experience. What do you hope people take away from a night or a stay?
I always think of customers as guests. For me, I want guests to walk away with an overall experience, that they are part of the story and help create and share in it.
