Insider Info: The Capri Hotel in Southampton has been bringing the Nightlife scene to all hours of the weekend for years. The Koch Brother's had a definite hand in launching one of the hottest places to party during the day in the Hamptons when they brought their "Day & Night" parties to the The Capri Hotel in Southampton, but over the years, the hotel (which is a full 1.5 hours closer to the city than it's Montauk counterparts) has been a consistent party scene. Known for it's pool parties, fine dining (Nobu was in residence last summer), shopping (Cynthia Rowley has a store there), and nightlife scene, it is one of THE places for Southamptonites to socialize. Jimmy Haber is the commander in chief at BLT which will be manning the food this summer, transforming the former sushi restaurant into an indoor/outdoor lounge/dining room. Look out for this new 110 seat hotspot opening Memorial Day weekend.
