    Southampton Party

There's quite a lot going on this weekend, but we've culled the best so you don't have to:

    Friday:

Join us at Surf Lodge for lobster rolls and paddle boarding.

Let the post-punk tunes of Haunted Hacienda unleash your inner Ted Leo at the Artful Dodger.

    Saturday:

Check out Izzy Gold's new line (and spinning skills) at Blue and Cream from 5-7.

Need yet another incentive to chill at Surf Lodge? The wonderful acoustic guitarist/singer Mike Doughty is playing a set from 6-9.

Decide whether you're a Dolly (Denim and Diamonds) or a Daisy (The Golden Age of Hollywood: The Roaring Twenties), or whether you feel like heading to Quogue (DD) or Water Mill (TGAH:TRT), or whether or not you can stomach an evening with "royalty."

Our dear and talented friend, the novelist Jasmin Rosemberg, is celebrating her the launch of her romance novel-cum-sharehouse-expose, How the Other Half Hamptons, at Lily Pond tonight from 9-11 with Kobe Club catering and unlimited Patron and Lillet.

    Sunday:

The Amagansett-based beachwear line Asparagus Beach is feting their launch from 7-10 at the Talkhouse with the alt-rock sounds from my Boston amigos Zach Lockwood and the Roseliners.
