Have you always wanted a college baseball player as a housemate? Well now's your chance. The Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League is looking for families to host their players for 8 weeks this summer, reports Southampton Patch.
While some families may not think that having a teenage or 20-something athlete living in their house all summer sounds ideal, I saw the pictures of these guys on the league's website and they're HOT. Sign me up!
In its 5th season, the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League,
"is sanctioned by the NCAA and Major League Baseball with top college players from around the country that have a dream and the dedication to make it to the major leagues."
Host families will be required to provide a bedroom, laundry facilities, and meals, but will not have to provide transportation for the boys, who will be playing baseball 5 or 6 days a week.
There are 7 teams in the league: Sag Harbor Whalers, Shelter Island Bucks, Westhampton Aviators, Moriches Battlecats, North Fork Ospreys, Riverhead Tomcats, and Southampton Breakers, so there are opportunities to host players (and attend games) no matter where your East End house is.
But don't worry if you don't have a Hamptons house-- there are there are other ways to mingle with these handsome athletes. According to Patch,
"Volunteers are also being sought for concessions, merchandise, food and supply donations, and in-between-inning fun activity coordinator."
See you this summer, boys!
