At first looking as if it resembles a  Basquiat painting, closer inspection reveals similarities to a Catacomb Saint exhumed from the grave. In the later part of the Renaissance, Roman corpses were dug out and decorated with fine jewels and gold to become relics of saints, and shipped abroad. Galliano wants us to know he is ready to be forgiven. He's not asking permission, he's demanding it.
