Tonya Harding Conspiracy- 1994
The Tonya Harding Conspiracy accuses Harding of attacking her fellow US skater and competitor, Nancy Kerrigan. The theory follows specific facts that prove that Tonya Harding was behind a violent attack on Nancy Kerrigan after Kerrigan was leaving a practice session at the ice rink. Kerrigan was walking to the locker rooms when she felt someone running behind her. Shortly after turning around, her attacker swung a police baton on her leg. The act was traced back to Tonya Harding, who had hired a man named Shane Stant, to break Kerrigan's leg so she would not be able to compete in the 1994 Olympics.
