The next "People's Princess" certainly seems to be the most accessible member of Britain's royal clique, thanks in part to her personal social media accounts that have, in the past year, been viewed by millions across the world. She let fans into her home, shared stylish vacations, and even introduced us to her dogs. Not to mention the entire lifestyle blog she was running. After all, Meghan Markle was just a celebrity doing what celebrities do.
Well, not anymore.
The soon-to-be Mrs. Prince Harry has officially gone off the grid. Today, Markle's Instagram and Twitter accounts have been shut down, while a farewell letter remains on her former website, The Tig.
The move feels especially poignant as it coincides with her second official royal outing in London, which was documented on the Royal Family's official Instagram account, @kensingtonroyal. Guess this means the people will now have to settle for perfectly curated, Queen-approved moments from here on out.
