Prince Harry Has The Best Dating Advice

by Stephanie Maida · November 27, 2017

In their first interview to the BBC since their much-anticipated engagement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed quite a bit about their high-profile, yet intensely private romance.

For starters, neither of them were starstruck when they were set up by a mutual friend. "I'd never watched Suits," Harry admitted. (To be fair, though, neither have we.) Meghan, meanwhile, shared her only question about the Prince before agreeing to meet him: "Is he nice?"

Apparently so, as Meghan could barely let him finish proposing a few weeks ago when he popped the question on a cozy night in, while they were roasting chicken. Idyllic, yes, but also their norm. When describing their courting period, Harry explained how the media scrutiny caused them to "reverse the process" of dating, opting for more "nights in front of the television, cooking dinner, just the two of us in our little cottage."

Sure, it's less flashy than nights out on the town, but according to Harry it's the best way to fall in love. "It's made us a hell of a lot closer in a shorter space of time," he said. To viewers at home, the adorable royal suggested, "slow down on the dates and spend more time at home."

    Wink wink.
