The Funniest Tweets About Meghan Markle & Prince Harry "Stepping Back" From Royal Duties

Well the Queen's not laughing, but we certainly are. After Wednesday's not-so-shocking (although the rest of the royal family seemed to think it was) announcement by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they would be "stepping back" from the spotlight and - gasp! - splitting their time between the U.K. and North America, reactions from us commoners flooded social media. As usual, the funniest takes were found on Twitter. 

We'll miss seeing Meghan and Harry all dolled up on palace balconies, but these Tweets made their decision all the more bearable.
