Like Kate, Meghan opted for a bridal bouquet which included lily of the valley, a floral accent which she included in the flower crowns for her bridesmaids. Unlike Kate, however, Meghan was accused of trying to kill children.
"Lily of the valley is a highly poisonous woodland flowering plant and ingestion could be deadly," wrote (again) The Daily Express. "As Meghan’s bridesmaids were so young, having this flower on their heads could be considered a dangerous decision."
