Relationship to the Royals
In addition to her husband's rank, Rose has her own connection to the Royal Family. Her grandmother, Lady Elizabeth Longman, was a close friend of the Queen's. In fact, she was one of her bridesmaids back in 1947, at her wedding to Prince Philip.
More recently, however, Rose was acknowledged as a member of Will and Kate's countryside circle. She lives just a few miles from their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.
