A Princess, A Billionaire, And A 90s Singer, And A Chef Run The London Marathon

by Chiara Atik · April 26, 2010

It's hardly the New York Marathon (if we say so ourselves), but royals of the UK (monarchy and otherwise) joined the 37,000 runners to take part in the 2010 London Marathon. Can you spot the Princess, the billionaire, and the one-hit wonder?

There's Richard Branson in the front, dressed, for some reason, like a butterfly. And in the back is 21 year old Princess Beatrice, the fifth in line to the British throne, and officially the first Royal to finish the London marathon.

Natalie Imbruglia and Gordon Ramsay also ran the marathon, along with a slew of those British celebrities no one outside of England has ever heard of.

Branson headed up a charity running team called "Team Caterpillar", who all dressed in identical outfits of black running leggings, neon tutus, and goofy hats with their names on them. Prince Andrew and Fergie (the original, not the Black Eyed Pea) came to the race to support their daughter as she ran with her boyfriend, Dave Clark.
