In Focus: Architecture
The Getty Center's exhibit, In Focus: Architecture, shows how photography changes the perception of architecture. The exhibit includes photos of iconic buildings in progress, as only partially-completed structures that have yet to achieve their recognizable form. Famous buildings no longer still standing are immortalized through photos in the collection. Also included are the photos of Peter Wegner in which he uses the outline of existing structures to form a new building with the shape of the sky in the background as its silhouette (as seen in the image above). Just opened this week, catch In Focus: Architecture at The Getty Center this weekend. October 15, 2013 - March 3, 2014 The Getty Center 1200 Getty Center Drive Los Angeles, CA 90049 [Photo via]
