Even holding PowerHouse in the Honda Center, located in that budding hip hop mecca of Anaheim, CA, felt appropriate. It reminded me of how as 9th graders, we'd tell our moms to pick us up from the River Rave (I wasn't joking, you guys, that was a
real thing) several blocks down the road so none of our badass new friends could see us getting into the minivan. Thank God the River Rave didn't have a separate parking lot-located entertainment stage like PowerHouse, or our cover might have been totally blown.
