Of far more interest than Guetta's actual immortalization is the event that the ceremony preceded, where Guetta successfully turned the Grauman's Ballroom into a full-on nightclub for the first of what will hopefully be a full series of "DJ Legends" shows. As
LA Weekly noted, for an area not even remotely designed for presentation or acoustics, the impressive sound and lights setup nevertheless transformed the space, complete with DJ booth, VIP tables, two levels and a full crowd of revelers. As we're on record being big fans of parties in unexpected spaces, we're thrilled at the possibility of more fun to be had at Grauman's. Especially if it
keeps the crazies off the streets, of course.
