1. Excellent Spacing

Let's say, right off the bat, that most of the best advantages to a summertime pool party stem from the fact that you don't have to (and in fact are not supposed to) wear a lot of clothes. While that probably has its most obvious implications for pervy reasons, and we'll get to that, the most significant advantage actually has to do with the fact that when you're half-naked, the club can't pack you in like sardines and is forced to actually provide you enough space to lounge and enjoy yourself. Think of it this way: if you take away the booze, music and special effects from a pool party, you're still lying by a pool in the sun, which is something you probably like to do anyway. But take those same things away from a nightclub, and you're just stuffed into a dank little room with a bunch of douchey guys with too much hair gel.
