Don't you think it's slightly odd that wedding ceremonies say "til death do us part"? After all, everything else in western religion is totally geared towards some guaranteed afterlife, so why are they so emphatic about death being the end of a marriage? Is Heaven some awesome '70s style swing party where you're just way better off having no commitments whatsoever? If I die and my grandfather greets me at the Gates in a leisure suit with two teenage girls hanging on his arms, I'm going to be seriously creeped out.
