Bring Your Friends
When your parents are trying to teach you about the negative effects of peer pressure and they ask you the classic "if all your friends jumped off a bridge..." question, they never seem to realize that they're leaving out several pertinent details, including how high the bridge is, and if your friends are buying the beers afterwards. There's strength in numbers, and several additional buddies is generally the difference between "I can't believe I did that last night, I'm such an asshole" and "I can't believe we did that last night, we're pretty hilarious."
