Look For The Unintentionally Ugly
While my awesome Hanukkah sweater and many others were clearly constructed to deliberately offend the sensibilities, you can also score ugly holiday points by discovering some bargain-bin horror that was the result of nothing more than extremely poor taste. This shiny holiday blouse, for example, was clearly meant to be worn seriously by a receptionist at an elder care facility, or maybe a 2nd grade teacher or something. It's possible someone has died in it. Now it belongs to this chipper young lady. I think that's what academicians refer to as the "circle of life."
