Brad Pitt & Alia Shawkat
Perhaps the last two people I'd ever wager on, well, getting it on, Brad Pitt and Alia Shawkat have been a most random and pleasant pairing for me personally. And it has nothing to do with their 26 year age difference (though I always do love a good May-December). It's just that Shawkat, who starred as everyone's favorite scheming cousin on Arrested Development and then went on to write and star in queer, semi-groundbreaking roles (Duck Butter, anyone?) just seems too cool for a chiseled leading man type. She's hip, she's indie, and she's decidedly not a Jennifer or Angelina. But apparently Brad can hang. They started getting friendly last fall after bonding over their "love of art" and spent some time together publicly just before lockdown started in LA. And while "sources" say they're "just friends" (yeah, OK) Shawkat was spotted riding her bike out of Pitt's gated community on her birthday last month. C'mon, you don't break quarantine on your birthday during a pandemic for a "just friend."
