Jay Leno's Car Collection
Jay Leno, the preeminent comedian of the drooling-on-the-remote set,
really loves cars. But whereas you or I might simply express that love by buying a car we like (or, if we've really done well for ourselves, perhaps a second car), ol' Jay's gone whole-hog and spent his hard-earned* "Tonight Show" millions on a virtual fleet of over 100 cars, another 100 motorcycles, and a massive Burbank warehouse complex (yes, that does mean more than one warehouse) to store them all.
Jay also
employs two full-time mechanics to maintain the cars and keep them "turn-key" ready-to-drive at all times. The collection includes such ultra-rarities as a
bulletproof 1940 Plymouth Super Deluxe, a steam-powered 1906 Stanley Steamer Vanderbilt Cup Racer, and the McLaren F1, the fastest naturally aspirated production car in history. And here I was thinking L.A. had the best criminals in the world. How has nobody robbed this place yet?
