In a highly anticipated followup to last year's standout Coachella weekend blowout that kept us dancing like fools 'til about 4am or so, A|X Armani Exchange and 944 Magazine returned with the 2nd Annual Neon Carnival Saturday night. Considering how they killed it with arguably with best party of the weekend last year, we were delighted to see the old "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" philosophy in effect.
Once again, a celeb-studded crowd with a very heavy L.A. constituent gathered at the airport hanger in the Middle of Nowhere, CA where a wondrous land with the Bolthouse touch of lit up carnival rides, games, a packed dance floor powered by beats from fresh DJs, and of course free-flowing alcohol, awaited them. Guests in attendance included Rihanna, Jamie Chung, Tiernan Cowling, Malin Akeman, Mark Salling, Usher, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kellan Lutz, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lukas Haas, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson, Shaun White, Whitney Port, Brittany Snow and manyyyy more.
Like the previous year, the dance floor and beyond was bumping into the wee hours to sounds by Mia Moretti, Jesse Marco, and Rick Rude, a clear sign (aside from the raging hangovers of those who attended) of another Neon Carnival runaway success.
