Social scene royalty - and actual royalty - stepped out in Los Angeles this weekend to ring in the 50th birthday of Alexandra von Fürstenberg. The heiress and socialite, who was formerly wed to Prince Alexander von Fürstenberg (yes, DVF's son), celebrated the occasion with a blowout futurist-themed affair.
Joined by her husband Dax Miller (who designed the stunning scene for the evening) and her daughter and son, Princess Talita and Prince Tassilo, the birthday girl dined and danced into the wee hours decked out in a metallic space-age ensemble to match the galactic disco décor.
Fashionable friends and titled family members made up the guest list, including Kathy Hilton, Tracee Ellis Ross, Derek Blasberg, Rachel Zoe, and, of course, Alexandra's sister, Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece and her children Princess Olympia and Prince Achileas (with It Girl plus one, Isabella Massenet).
Between the futuristic fashion, laser light landscape, and fabulous attendees, AVF's birthday bash was clearly the hottest ticket in town.
