Monday night, Royal/T art gallery in Culver City transformed into a dining room and auction house for a four-course dinner and art auction to benefit Angel City Arts.
Guests enjoyed plates upon plates of music inspired-food inspired by chef Paul Canales of Oliveto Restaurant. An ensemble led by pianist Myra Melford provided mood music for a meal while Japanese butoh dancer Oguri performed an interpretive dance to entertain the guests while they dined. The dinner was followed by an art auction with works by such artists as Yoshitomo Nara, Dave Muller and Shepard Fairey.
The multi-sensory experience was for more than just pleasure and contributed to a greater cause with auction proceeds going to Angel City Arts.
