It's not everyday that celebs and fashionistas get glam to party for the debut of a new car, but clearly, REDS is different. Last night at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, the likes of Charlotte McKinney and Catt Sadler came out to toast the unveiling of a new project by Chris Bangle and CHTC (China Hi-Tech Group Corporation). More than a concept or research project, "REDS is a space, a space that became a car," and it hopes to revolutionize transportation in China, where the mega-cities are some of the most crowded in the world.
Between DJ sets by cool kids May Kwok and Mike Nouveau, with bites provided by Sqirl, guests took in the futuristic design of the electric vehicle made for urban life, which features a solar roof panel, 17" screen, and a rotatable driver's seat. Needless to say, it was the ideal setting for plenty of selfies throughout the night.
