Last week, The Supper Club hosted their Diamonds & Champagne party at the Holmby Hills estate of jewelry designer Shery Shabani. Guests were invited to the swank soiree thrown by Tamsin Londsdale of The Supper Club, Lara Spencer and Shabani for an exclusive preview of the designer's Diamond Jewelry Collection.

The intimate gathering was held in the formal living room of the Shabani residence, where guests snacked on beautifully prepared duck and tuna tartare hors d'oeuvres and sipped on champagne and cocktails while they perused the sparkling baubles on display. And what event would be complete without cupcakes? But for an upscale event such as this, the sweet treats were passed on trays like the rest of the snacks, rather than arranged on the obligatory cupcake tower. There's nothing sophisticated or elegant about cupcakes, but having them passed around by servers on silver trays was definitely a classy touch.

As you can imagine, a party like this drew a largely female crowd but the men who came were great sports and kept content with the constant flow of fresh hors d'oeuvres. This allowed the women to crowd around the jewels for oohs and ahhs interspersed with side gossip as they tried on the pieces. It was just the sort of evening event you would expect from The Supper Club inside a stately Holmby Hills home billed as "Diamonds & Champagne."
