NYLON Magazine seems to have the Midas touch, as everything the fashion-forward Empire of Cool embraces turns to style gold. That was certainly the case at last night's NYLON + Sebastian party hosted at Studio DNA, where the style bible and hair care giant teamed up to present an evening revealing the latest and most coveted hair secrets in the industry.
Guests who came out for the swank groom-a-thon were treated to Sebastian Professional product and styling tutorials by seasoned pros and even some lessons in makeup for that perfect cat eye and glossy, muted kisser. Studio DNA's creative director/owner, Aubrey Loots, even came out to extend his expertise in all things hair to the crowd. In between beauty how-tos, guests enjoyed offerings from The Sweets Truck (no event would be complete without a food mobile), cocktails and tunes by DJ Epic Twelve. Unlike most events in which you only walk away with a slight buzz and semi-full tummy, last night's lucky guest left armed with a trove of beauty secrets for getting pretty for their night out.
