You're probably most familiar with David Lynch from his film and TV work, and maybe you've even heard his new music or sipped his eponymous brand of coffee. But did you know the master of Surrealism is also an accomplished artist? In fact, before getting into filmmaking, Lynch studied painting and fine art and continues to explore his dark, dreamlike world on canvas today. His latest solo art show, Naming, is currently on display at Kayne Griffin Corcoran gallery and we caught the artist himself at the opening reception Saturday night.
