Saturday night Society once more took over Trousdale for the weekly party that gives locals an alternative to joining the riffraff in Hollywood on Amateur Night. On top the usual dancing and drinking, this week also featured a special pop up shop for guests to do some boozy retail therapy. Let's take a look inside what went down this weekend at the party that's bringing back Saturday nights.
The weekend throwdown brought to you by our friends at Minx Society and iSHOWMYSELF is quickly becoming one of L.A. nightlife's most popular weekly parties, this past one hitting capacity by midnight. While DJs Pika and Keith Wilson provided beats for the main room, Myles Hendrik, Ana Calderon and Aaron Castle held it down in the back room where designs by L.A.-based brands Naven, Otis & Maclain, and Shop Trashy set up a little pop up boutique for party guests to shop, plus snack on alcohol-infused cupcakes by Swizzle Cakes.
Ladies flocked to the fashions on display and crowded the bathrooms that became makeshift fitting rooms to try on their purchases. The night's hostess, Casey Winchell of Minx Society even bought herself a minidress from Otis & Maclain which then became her outfit for the night. In addition to the warm reception of the pop up shop, judging by the crowd of hip, young Angelenos who packed the dance floors and ladies grooving atop the pool table, the night was yet another success. Saturday nights are back indeed.
