L.A.'s Shiny, Happy Young Professionals Fill 'Get A Taste Of Philanthro'

L.A.'s young entrepreneurs have a lot to smile about these days. Last week, a group of these sprightly professionals gathered at Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar in Santa Monica for the "Get a Taste of Philanthro" cocktail mixer and there wasn't a single grimace the crowd.

The event was put together by Philanthro Productions, a non-profit organization for young professionals, in collaboration with Cause for a Drink and Pourtal Wine Tasting as part of the company's series of fundraising events. For the second Philanthro mixer of the new year, the bar was packed with 20-somethings in the non-profit, media and social entrepreneurship fields and kept Pourtal buzzing well into the night. In addition to possibly setting a new high in attendance for the wine bar, the event might be a new record for most smiles we've ever seen fill a room.
