Cheers to fashion, charity, and a fabulous after party! The annual Glamorama presented by Macy's Passport came to town yesterday, and it was a fashion show and party très à la mode.
Every year, the department store throws Macy's Passport Presents Glamorama, a fashion show in the name of glam, and charity. After leaving a trail of style behind in Minneapolis and Chicago, the event arrived in Los Angeles last night to benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles and Project Angel Food. Stars like Serena Williams, Mark Salling, La Toya Jackson, Lo Bosworth, Brandy and more showed up to exercise their charitable sides and see a special live performance by Macy Gray and Eric Hutchinson. We love enjoying fashion for a good cause, but the fun really began at the after party at the California Market Center. After enjoying the looks of Tracy Reese, Chris March (one of our "Project Runway" faves) Just Cavalli, Marc by Marc Jacobs and many more, guests filled up their glasses and champagne flute to celebrate at the after party in style.
The post-party was DJed by Audiomoe who played the perfect down-tempo/indie tunes--can't get too wild in four inch heels and a cocktail dress! The fashionistas and L.A. tastemakers sipped on Patron and Wente wines while being served gourmet treats by coutured-out waitresses. If drinks and dancing just didn't do it for you, an XBOX Kinect station was there to entertain with its controller free gaming experience. Guests paid a pretty penny to party with the best of them, but it's always worth it to clink glasses for a good cause.
