Last night, Details Magazine celebrated the launch of THE DETAILS GUILD, gathering four artists (Blek Le Rat, Slater Bradley, Nate Lowman and Gardar Eide Einarsson) to collaborate with the magazine on projects that will benefit Free Arts, the party was quickly underway as the crowd was looking for a way to wind down after a crazy fashion week.
While music by DJs Harley and Cassie played, guests quickly lined up to grab tacos off the Tacombi Taco Truck and enjoyed the night. A slight hush gathered over one section of the room when Mr. Brainwash (aka Thierry Guetta from the documentary “Exit Through the Gift Shop”) was introduced to Blek Le Rat (known as the God-Father of Grafitti and for inspiring Banksy who in turn inspired Mr. Brainwash) for the first time. Earlier in the week, Mr. Brainwash put his mark on the mural that Blek created for the DETAILS GUILD which is on the Interstate Foods Packing Plant wall on west 13th Street.
