Showgirls, fire dancers and aerialists - oh my!

In celebration of last month's MAD Ball, the art world's new hot spot gallery, agency and investment advisory AKTION ART threw a blowout bash in true Las Vegas style. Hosted by AKTION ART founders and proud supporters of the Museum of Arts and Design Nick Hissom and Kameron Ramirez, the black-tie event was a socially distanced success.

Upon arrival, glamorous guests were greeted by masked showgirls and a fleet of Rolls Royce supercars provided by Towbin Motor Cars. In keeping with the evening's "Viva Las Vegas" theme, hours of entertainment followed with fire dancers, Cirque-de-Soleil aerialists, a Marilyn Monroe impersonator, ballerinas, smoking dry-ice cocktails and more posted up around the sprawling private estate.

Of course, it wouldn't be an art party without some fabulous art would it? The star segment of the night was the charity auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Museum of Arts and Design. AKTION ART and MAD Ball Luminaries Live artist ThankYouX's piece, "Meet Me In The Mystery," achieved a record price for the artist, with AKTION ARTIST Kevin HEES's piece "LUCID I" also causing quite the bidding frenzy. Combined the two pieces raised over $60,000 for the museum.
