O'Neill's "Generation Next" Event Presented By Teen Vogue

Fashion shows, prizes, and a live performance by The Like? No wonder the Avalon Hollywood was packed full of L.A.'s top fashionistas and Teen Voguers for O’Neill's 3rd annual "Generation Next" fashion and music event presented by Teen Vogue and hosted by Soyon An.

The event was the conclusion of a Project Runway-style competition between five local high school students, who each designed an original piece and accessory. After supermodel Elyse Taylor and this year's face of O'Neill rocked each of the original designs on the runway, viewers got a chance to vote for their favorite look. The very talented Monica Santos won the coveted 'O'Neill presented by Teen Vogue' title. The Cali beach wear brand put some of their own surfer-chic looks on the catwalk, pleasing the audience with splashes of color, feathers and gorgeous swimwear. No question that everyone jotted down some mental notes on the amazing looks necessary for their closets.

As if the fabulous fashion showings weren't enough, a live performance by The Like topped off the night. The all girl band took their mod-ness to the stage and rocked the crowd into a tizzy with their raw talent and retro pop-rock tunes. Familiar faces like Ariel Winter, Sasha Pieterse, Booboo Stewart, Tess Taylor, Alexis Neiers and Gabrielle Neiers were spotted at the event, enjoying the fashion and the tunes of The Like. Guests left with gift bag in hand, satisfied by the heavy dose of style and fashion thanks to O'Neill and Teen Vogue.
