The Roosevelt ballroom was transformed into the ultimate dance off when The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers a.k.a. The LXD took over last Tuesday night. The crew has a history of producing great dancers like Harry Shum Jr. of "Glee," and dancers who have appeared in Step Up, Step Up 2: The Streets, and coming this summer, Step Up 3...in 3D (watch out James Cameron, we smell an Oscar!). You may have even caught these guys breaking down beats in a performance at this year's Academy Awards. ]

But none of the performances could compare to what we stumbled upon last week while wandering through the Roosevelt. Inside the hotel's ballroom, we found the talented dance troupe celebrating the debut of their web series, "The Tales Of Trevor Drift." The party was just like being in dance battle scene in the movies. Everyone formed a big circle around dancers, like one guy spinning on his head for six full revolutions. No big deal... Once they were finished showing off their moves they'd freeze and the crowd circled around wuld let out a resounding "OHHHHHH!"

Although we were tempted to do our best worm, we didn't want to show up any of the crews' skills, so we kept our poppin' and lockin' to ourselves.
