This summer's music fest marathon continued with the 30th Annual Sunset Junction Street Fair in Silver Lake this weekend. People from far and wide ventured east for the weekend festival of arts & crafts, rides, local flavors and five different music stages, each featuring a handful of acts starting midday and going well into the late evening hours. The warm weather was ideal for spending the day outside in the sun ambling through the festival grounds and catching some live music.
Day One of Sunset Junction featured sets by Bad Brains, The Ohio Players, Dawes, Chief and Ghostland Observatory who stole the show with their electro dance rock jams and light show. But the festivities were only halfway through once Saturday's music sets ended, and we were there to capture the rest, so make sure to check back tomorrow for Sunset Junction Day Two!
