On Saturday and Sunday Forward Fashion, the trend forecasting and fashion consulting company that is garnering wide recognition in the fashion world hosted its tri-annual 'Pop, Lock & SHOP It' sample sale at The London West Hollywood. It was the ideal location for such an event, where guests could grab a drink and peruse all the designer offerings arranged throughout the rooftop garden on the sunny day.

The event, and the company throwing it, is the brainchild of Tuesday Simon and Jacqueline Chambers, two L.A. natives in their very early 20s who have already established themselves within the fashion community.  It's impressive that these two young ladies were able to put together such a big event as this weekend's, complete with a DJ, bar, and loads of designer apparel, as well as secure such prime real estate to host it.

When out and about meeting new people in L.A. and the basic question, "what does he/she do?" arises, too often is the response "nothing." In a town filled with young people who literally do nothing, we're always refreshed when we see young go-getters doing something.
