"It is his fault he didn't lock the garage." Anyone out there who isn't a fan of Ferris Bueller? If you didn't look up to him, then you at least wanted to be friends with him.
He was my personal hero since I first saw the film at about age 9, and it's one of those things I never really outgrew. I love his swagger and how he can saunter into anything and shamelessly portray someone he's not without an iota of self-doubt. That's some awesome chutzpah. One of the best features of the epic film is Cameron's dad's sweet red '61 GT California Ferrari that he, Ferris, and Sloane cruise around in all day after they pick her up from school pretending to be her father.
Well folks, that car is up for auction! But didn't they ruin it when it flew threw the glass garage walls and down into the woods?? Nope, that was just a replica they used for stunts. This is THE car. And you can own it. A private collector in London will auction it off on April 19th, with the starting bid at $67k.
