Don't know what to do for lunch? Cart for a Cause is back today (and every Tuesday through November!) with more gourmet bites for your a buck. Today, the epicurean food truck will be serving their $10 boxed lunches with a down home style.
The menu today is by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Animal, who have prepared "killer fried chicken sandwiches" with corn on the cob - a steal for that price! Proceeds from the lunches go to St. Vincent's Meals on Wheels program, meaning you can give back back by eating gourmet, which is a pretty sweet little arrangement. The truck will be parked at the Pacific Design Center from 12-2pm, but you better get a move on, because people start lining up early and those 150 meals go fast. And trust, us you do not want to mess with a hungry West Hollywooder so don't even try cutting.
