Griffith Observatory
The city-run Griffith Observatory is one of the few known places that is selling equipment for people to view the Transit of Venus directly tonight. Go to the planetarium and buy a pair of solar glasses for $2.99. For an even better view at the Observatory, the transit will be magnified by a telescope, equipped with special solar filters. Staff members will be on hand to answer questions or give information about the event.
