The Carlyle had Ludwig Bemelmans, San Vicente Bungalows has Grace Coddington.
The West Hollywood members club, a favored watering hole amongst the famous set - A-List actors, a certain billionaire businessman obsessed with space, you know the crowd - has commissioned Vogue's former creative director at-large to add her distinctly playful touch to their uber chic interiors.
Coddington's penchant for felines is on full display across the many illustrated scenes she's created for SVB. A popcorn-carrying audience of cats and dogs cozy in for a movie screening. A flamboyance of flamingos casually step through an al fresco lunch. An arms-full buttoned-up waiter drops a poor plate of cake.
While the club is normally a no-photos, high-discretion establishment, Karen Elson managed to steal a few snaps while celebrating the new art pieces alongside fellow fashionable host's Nicolas Ghesquière, Jamie Mizrahi and Gabé Doppelt.
