There were plenty of stylish heels and flattering outfits to go around at the 12th Annual Girls Today Women Tomorrow Fashion Show event Friday night, where self-confidence was the theme of the evening. Come take a look inside this fashion forward fundraising celebration of female empowerment and leadership that went down at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens.

Girls Today Women Tomorrow is an inspirational mentorship program providing young ladies of today with opportunities to achieve future success as leaders of their communities. The program lends support and encourages contributing to community amongst its mentored young ladies as they determine just what it takes to be a valuable leader.

The fashionable evening sponsored by Eileen Fisher and Verizon and hosted by Raquel Castaneda of The Real L Word Los Angeles brought together community supporters and sponsors that have made the GTWT project a success. 40 participants in the program brought their confidence with them on the runway proving that in addition to their leadership chops, they can strut a mean catwalk. With chic outfits provided by Eileen Fisher and BYER BCX, and hair and makeup sponsored by Argyle Salon and Spa, the ladies in the fashion were the highlight of the evening.

Celebrity guests including Aubrey O'Day, Phoebe Price, as well as an honorary committee of L.A. City Council, California State Assembly and House of Representatives members stepped out to show their support for the GTWT cause. But the evening wasn't all business, as guests were treated to mini cupcakes, indulged in a few cocktails and enjoyed the live music before and after the fashion presentation to raise funds for GTWT's mission.
