Rage Against The Machine To Reunite This Summer, Headline L.A. Rising

For Those About To Rock Rage... We Suggest You Mark Your Calendars For July 30th. Not like we thought we'd never see them perform together for their hometown again or anything, but Mr. de la Rocha, Mr. Morello and the rest have set aside their differences, let Chris Cornell recede into the background for a minute, and will come together once more as Rage Against The Machine this summer at the Coliseum. [Photo via] After a series of Zack de la Rocha's public temper tantrums, they disbanded somewhere around 2000, but thanks to Goldenvoice, the concert wizards who also managed to reunite the group for Coachella 2007, the band comes back to its L.A. roots to headline L.A. Rising, an all-day music event whose lineup also includes Muse, Rise Against, (Ms.?) Lauryn Hill, Immortal Technique and El Gran Silencio.  Tickets go on sale Friday, May 13 and can be found HERE. If you want the REAL Battle of Los Angeles in the flesh, or just want to see Zack de la Rocha have a full-blown hissy fit on stage for his hometown, act early because we have a feeling these tickets will go quickly.
