Trois Mec
Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook (
Animal,
Son of a Gun) opened up Trois Mec with celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre this year. Based on a ticketing system, you can only have one of the 24 seats available if you can snag a ticket on Trois Mec's
website. Disguised behind a Raffalo's Pizza sign in a strip mall catty-corner to Mozza, once you walk pass the glass doors, you might come face to face with any one of the chefs in the open kitchen. You won't know the menu until you're seated and served. There's anything from a wood-grilled rib eye with fermented black walnut paste to a grilled carrot seasoned with orange juice, vinegar, and curry topped with yogurt, to handmade ice cream dessert. A five course meal with extra, for $75, and wine pairings for another $49, your meal will be complimented and carefully planned by Lefebvre in advance of your arrival. With a small space and an open kitchen, it's as if you have a personal chef in your own home. Try to grab a ticket on their website (or find someone who is willing to give up their own ticket) for a unique dining experience at Trois Mec.
